Jurors have been in their chambers since before 10 a.m. weighing evidence in the trial of Noel Chua. Court officials brought a carry-out meal for jurors about 7 p.m., rather than bring them to a restaurant to eat dinner.
Conflicting evidence is a likely cause for the lengthy deliberations.
Family members for Jamie Carter said they expect jurors to return a guilty verdict on at least some of the 16 drug charges against Chua.

Well I guess I'm sleeping along again tonight. I was hoping he jury would finish up today.
I think this racist judge is having a menupause. Ok, folks, the white supremacists xenophobic moron-lynching mobs are deliberating, pls give them time.
One of the saddest things about this case is that two lives will be tarnished forever. So many things have been said that these two people will never recover. The Dr is going to be known, without evidence, as a person who persued young men. He will also be known for prescribing too many drugs to a patient. Jamie is going to be known as an addict of both prescription and illicit drugs. This is what families do when they want their satisfaction. They don't see how the person they are supposedly fighting for is going to look in the end. They are looking out solely for themselves. The whole "look at me and feel sorry for me and look at my loss". It happens over and over and that is truly sad.
You are right, there are no winners in this.

Clearly you have some serious issues. What is your basis for calling this judge a racist? I find your comments very disturbing. There is no reason for name calling here.
There are very serious charges to be deliberated here. I for one would hope that they jury would certainly weigh all the evidence thoroughly before making any rash decisions. There are 16 drug charges in addition to the murder charge. These decisions must be given due consideration, because a man's life hangs in the balance. If I were on that jury I certainly would not want it on my conscious to find an innocent man guilty or to set a guilty man free, simply because I wanted to get it over with so I could go home.
The age of sexual consent is 16 for adults who are under 24 years of age,
or if the adult that is 24 years of age or older is married to the minor.

Finally a sane person here. I certainly don't want to live with a person that always had doubt if they made the right decision in this case. I have a loved one on the jury and I know that they are weighing the facts carefully.
Trust me when I say this that you would want this person on your trial. Because they are fair and impartial.
I wish I could say the same thing about the jurors that were on my son's trial.
